Any coffee lover will tell you that there is nothing worse than having your drink turn cold too soon. Whether you forget your cup outside or sit it to cool for too long, a cold cup of coffee or tea is never satisfying. Using custom shaped heating coils and touch sensing technology, I am looking to build a thermos that activates water-boiling heaters when hands are cupped around the grip. The concept revolves around current readings of the temperature of the liquid and is activated by the grasp of the user. With an installed thermometer, the cup always displays a current read of the beverage temperature. When clasped in the palms of your hands, the heating coils activate and raise the beverage temperature to a predetermined degree. With this thermos, the frustration of cold coffee or chilly tea will no longer be an issue for more than a few minutes. This portable, battery operated, and hand activated water heater will allow the average person to be more productive and efficient while providing a factor of convenience. Say hello to ESH
